The Michigan Fiddlers' Association will be conducting a Square Dance Demonstration at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, at the Michigan Flywheelers Antique Engine & Tractor Show, 06285 68th St, South Haven, MI 49090 (this is not the mailing address).

Following the demonstration, the fiddlers and other musicians will hold a jam starting at 11:00 a.m. This is not a Fiddlers' Jamboree--this is simply a jam.

The Michigan Fiddlers' Association will hold a jamboree on Saturday, April 4, 2015, from 2 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Barry County Commission on Aging, 320 West Woodlawn, Hastings, MI 49058, north of the Courthouse, corner of Broadway (M-43) & Woodlawn. Dinner available.

Schedule:

2:00-4:00 p.m. - Fiddlers will entertain with backup musicians assisting
4:00-5:30 p.m. - Open Jam
5:00-6:00 p.m. - Dinner
6:00-7:30 p.m. - Square Dancing

Acoustic instruments only.

Please join us. All jamborees are open to the public.

Michigan State Fiddle Contest

The Michigan Fiddlers' Association will hold a jamboree on Saturday, February 7, 2015, from 2 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Barry County Commission on Aging, 320 W Woodlawn, Hastings, MI 49058, north of the Courthouse, corner of Broadway (M-43) & Woodlawn. Dinner will be available.

2:00-4:00 p.m. - Fiddlers will entertain with backup musicians assisting
4:00-5:30 p.m. - Open Jam
5:00-6:00 p.m. - Dinner
6:00-7:30 p.m. - Square Dancing

A GENERAL MEETING WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 p.m. PRIOR TO THE START OF THE JAMBOREE.

Fiddlers' Convention and Traditional Music Festival

The 26th Annual Fiddlers' Convention and Traditional Music Festival will be held at the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds, Hillsdale, MI, on Friday and Saturday, August 14-15, 2015. Admission is $10 per person for the weekend with children 16 and under free with an adult.

Gates open at 8 a.m. both days. Camping available for the weekend. There will be jamming throughout the week for early birds, as well as throughout the weekend. A get-acquainted potluck will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. This is open to the public, rain or shine.
